The property market has certainly picked up in the last few weeks with a number of sales on the board in our office including cash sales and multi-offers with a number of long-term listings now finding new owners.

A couple of factors being the catalyst here; firstly interest rates dropping to unheard of lows and secondly house prices not fully recovered from the correction we have recently seen in the market. Thus there has been a real flurry in the Cambridge property market of recent, particularly in the first home/investment home sector where competition for well maintained well priced homes has been fierce.
